Authentique September Color Challenge

This month the challenge was to use the colors; Almond, Pumpkin and Licorice. That just screams Halloween to me. Since I have been wanting to make a new wreath for my door I decided that is what I would create for this challenge.

I'm really glad that this year's Halloween inspired paper coordinates beautifully with last year's line since I really love some of the papers from each line. I used both the "Enchanted" and the "Glowing" lines. This cone wreath was so easy to create and took very little time.

Layout Club with Authentique

This month in layout club, our kit contained some paper from Authentique's line "LIVELY". It's beautiful paper. I hadn't already bought it because there is a lot of pink in the line and my daughter hasn't worn pink since the 2nd grade! Makes it challenging. I underestimated how versatile this paper really is. The browns and greens are beautiful shades that match so much.

Inspiration Color Challenge

Authentique August Color Challenge

here is my take on the August color challenge. I'm sure it was intended for their line "Curiosity" but I didn't have any of that so I decided to improvise. I used paper from the "Genuine" line. I also decided to use my new Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Pewter. Love this goes on so smoothly.
