Echo Park "Times & Seasons" for a layout challenge.

Is there really anything funnier than a kid with a mustache?

LYB Fall/Winter Sketch Challenge

I love these pictures of Jake from Red Sox baseball camp last summer. If I hadn't gotten a Groupon worth 50% off I would have never known about it (nor would I have paid full price!). He had the time of his life and when he got to go to Fenway for a field trip they all got their pictures taken with Jacoby Ellsbury...what a cutie! Oh Jacoby is cute too ;)

PageMaps Sketch Challenge

Here is a layout I made for the PageMaps sketch challenge. It is for a Jillibean Soup package. I used some paper that I really love from the Fancy Pants Beach Bum line. I really used some old school supplies here. I found some raffia in my stash and I also brought out the old Making Memories magnetic alphabet set. I used to use that MM set on almost every layout I did. I'm so glad I keep things, you just never know.

Bo Bunny Card Challenge

Here is a card that I made for the Bo Bunny Card Layout Challenge. It is based on the following sketch..

I had to use one of my most favorite lines for this...Barefoot and Bliss. It came out last year and blue and orange is my favorite color combination (even more than blue and green!). It just screams summer to me and I miss those warm summery, carefree days.

Inspired by Circles

I made this layout for the Bo Bunny Layout Challenge "Inspired by Circles". It is made from the Welcome Home collection which I LOVE! Anytime there is paper that has the green/blue color scheme I am all over it! I am a pretty monochromatic scrapbooker so when I realized I had pictures of frogs and nature that matched this paper I had to do it. The funny thing is that I love to incorporate circles onto my pages anyway. Hope the detail shows through.

Echo Park Holiday Card

Here is a card I made for the Echo Park Holiday Christmas contest. I used the "Everybody Loves Christmas" collection from last year. It's hard to tell from the picture (I need to get better at this!) but there are many layers on the tree. I used stickles to add the "bling". Can you tell I embossed the background paper?

Some Little Yellow Bicycle Layouts

Welcome to the blog!

I am attempting to create this blog because I want to start submitting work to various websites and companies. It seems like so many scrapbooking companies have contests or design team calls and ask for your blog address to see what you have done. I figure I will start small and see how it goes.

Many of my friends come to my house at the holidays and always love the crafty things that I have around the house and this will also give me a chance to showcase some of those crafts and who knows? Maybe even make a few $$ selling some things.

Here we go!
